I’m so along for the ride that I went right out to my local Safeway (Snohomish) and grabbed a JCB. I picked the best of the lot, but it lagged the one in your picture in every way: less cheese, fewer jalapeños, and not as well cooked, so that the bagel softness became almost a gooey-ness. I’m not saying your rating was wrong, and I did enjoy the cheese and jalapeño flavor that I got, but I’ll look on the bright side: there’s no way to go but up!
I love the use of "Intangibles" as a wild card. There's just some aspects that are hard to quantify.

I hear you on the bagel purist mindset. This is a great prompt though, I'll save my ideal JCB scenario for the next set of reviews!
