My wife and I feel like we finally have a sports team we're invested in rooting for, and it's Bagel Oasis.

I was super excited to find someone ranking bagels out here(your bagel ratings on the uws are spot on as well) but Bagel Oasis was pretty tragic. Maybe a cut above supermarket or Dunkin but pretty disappointing for where it's ranked. Definitely not in the same league as Mt Bagel. Might be time for a third visit.

Bummer! You're not the first person to say this. It's been a while since I've reviewed so I'm gonna put a special gameplan in place to see if I can chart consistency for my next one. Stay tuned!

I’m really surprised by this review, as this is the exact opposite of my Bagel Oasis experience. Pale, soft, and not even a hint of crispness. The light hand on the everything seasoning and lack of salt made them extra disappointing. Maybe I should give them another try, but when Mt Bagel and Hey Bagel are so consistently delicious it’s hard to want to stray.

Hey Kyla, appreciate the bagel report! You know, you're not the first person to come away feeling like there's a lack of consistency. I've certainly had a couple of bagels from there that weren't amazing, but I've usually come away feeling like it's still solid. I think the key with them is to eye the bagel baskets when you get there and look for what's fresh and looks cooked well. But you're right, Mt. Bagel and Hey Bagel are pretty consistent.
